Work the Valley is a series of events throughout the school year and the summer designed to connect students with employers, young professionals and each other across the Cedar Valley. Student networking events, downtown tours, employer visits and more, all to help you do more than simply work in the Cedar Valley!
Work the Valley: Summer Social
Get the summer started off right. Hosted at Lost Island Waterpark, the Summer Social is an opportunity to meet with over 150 interns from around the region to network - maybe even make a few new friends for the summer.
Work the Valley: Destination Downtown
Take a stroll through some of the historic downtown areas of the Cedar Valley. Learn about their history, current developments, and future plans, as well as getting an inside look at the downtown apartment living, restaurants, cultural centers and more.
Work the Valley: Employer Bus Tours
Get an inside look at various businesses around the Cedar Valley. Learn about the companies, talk with their employees and have an opportunity to make the connections that could one day help to land you the career you've been looking for.
